Information Technology (IT) is the Application of computers and telecommunication equipment to store,retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise.
Information Technology is a very excited subject that impacted on our daily lives in a profound way. It very much a part of our lives today and it is here to stay. It is a useful tool for business, education, recreation etc. hence, the study of this subject is very useful.
Information Technology (IT) or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be an asset for any student; whatever your career goals maybe it will be very handy. After all technology has literally taken over the world and if you are not sending text messages or emails it would seems of if you are out dated.
Technology also plays an important part of one's school life as School Based Assessments (SBA) as to be typed. When you enter into universities or colleges if you do not know how to use computers you will be left behind.
